Job Responsibilities:
Operates, designs, plans and leads implementation of global internal telecom systems. Provides technical guidance for telecommunications solutions and proposed upgrades to equipment in support of business objectives. Prepares detailed specifications and flowcharts for implementation of new internal programs or modifications to vendor software. Monitors the operation of voice telecommunications systems and services of vendors.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Focuses on service management discipline within the environment to minimize impact to the business.
Performs tasks relating to telecommunication voice operations, installation and/or maintenance for local, off-site and/or remote locations.
Designs, configures, deploys, tests, maintains, monitors and trouble-shoots telecommunication voice components to provide a secure, high performance voice network.
Documents and maintains global standards and processes and the development of specifications, records, form layouts, etc.
Analyzes and translates business requirements and user needs into engineering, design, and technical specifications to support telecommunications infrastructure.
Develops and maintains vendor and internal/external customer relationships.
HiPath 4000 Stystem Admin, OpenScape Contact Center, OpenScape Voice Basics and Voice Deployment. Cisco Call Manager 6.X preferred.
