BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for all aspects of project management, event planning, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management for the ACO LN project. The ACO Learning Network is a member-driven network that provides participating organizations the tools necessary to successfully implement accountable care.Working closely with the director of operations and the deputy director to develop, manage and coordinate the operations and content of the project. Works in conjunction with senior research staff and collaborating organizations to implement project year content goals and deliverables for network members.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree required. MBA, MPH, MPP, or other applicable degrees desired. Minimum 8 years experience with at least 4 years in a position of comparable experience and responsibility. Candidate must have the proven ability to plan and organize content with attention to detail and creativity; and the ability to interact and manage relationships with high level individuals and organizations and the proven ability to write business documents and plans. Candidate should have work experience in fast-paced office setting, preferably in a government, non-profit, or policy/political organization. Candidate must also be professional and assertive with a positive approach to working in a team environment and have the flexibility to work in the evenings, early mornings and on weekends, if required.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Candidate must have strong organization, high initiative, strong interpersonal skills, discretion, poise, mature judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

40% Relationship Management

Serves as relationship manager, managing relations with Dartmouth and other project contributors

Works to keep ACO LN stakeholders, supporters, partners, informed on the project deliverables, events and work group coordination efforts.

Communicates project roles and responsibilities to internal and collaborating contributors.

Oversees relationships with BEE, conference administrators, and management staff at Dartmouth to manage operations and event planning/logistics.

40% Project Management

Manages the ACO LN by organizing internal and external parties. Prepares work plans, content & timelines and coordinates execution of the project teams.

Works with the Assistant Director for Budget on tracking and forecasting the budget of the ACO LN.

Coordinates internal and external communication on the ACO LN project by providing regular written and verbal updates and developing external messaging.

Works with senior research staff on the implementation of project workgroups and content development.

Collaboratively works with events and communication teams to direct communication strategies and event management and planning.

Develops and executes sales and marketing strategy to ensure project funding objectives are met.

20% Content Development and Convening

Engages scholars, senior staff and partners to develop concepts for ACO LN to meet research, impact and fundraising objectives

Collaborates with scholars, senior staff and partners to develop structure and program content for target audiences, including identifying and reaching out to key participants (featured speakers, panelists, moderators, etc.)

Prepares meeting agendas for internal and external team meetings

Employs writing skills in the creation of planning documents, meeting agendas, program agendas, invitations, announcements, and briefing materials.
