What Audit & Financial Controls contributes to Cardinal Health
Audit/Financial Controls is responsible for conducting financial and operational audits; examining the statistical data of various departments to ensure compliance with plans, policies, Sarbanes-Oxley and procedures. Examines records to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with laws, agreements and policies. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. Evaluates and recommends improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures. Provides expertise on policies & procedures development; technical guidance and audit liaison work. Performs adhoc financial investigations. Project mgmnt of SOX404.

Accountabilities in this role
Responsible for billing and collection processes for assigned manufacturers by ensuring timely completion of invoice approval and prompt resolution of issues. Involved in supplier discussions regarding rebate questions and disputes. Audit contract set-up and data used to calculate invoices in Rebate Management System (RMS). Complete ad hoc analysis and projects as directed by group manager.
BS/BA Finance or Accounting
Minimum 2 yrs accounting/finance experience
Strong communication & analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
