The Dynamics CRM National Sales Manager is a specialist sales management role with national scope focused on leading a team that sells Microsoft Dynamics CRM into CTM accounts across the US. The role is responsible for managing a team of Solution Sales Professionals (SSP) responsible for selling Dynamics CRM within their assigned territory, and add value to Microsoft by developing high performing people and teams who meet or exceed sales plans consistently.
Success in this job is measured by quota being met or exceeded across all SSP assigned territories by ensuring delivery of customer-centric, solution-focused sales engagements. The CRM CTM Sales Manager will evangelize Dynamics CRM across all three Regional CTM sales organizations through integration with CTM Area Sales Managers and Regional GMs. The role is responsible for leading the CTM SSPs to foster strong integration with the CTM teams in their assigned territories, resulting in effective collaboration on initiatives to drive pipeline, sales velocity and ultimately to meet or exceed billed quota expectations. The CRM CTM Sales Manager will have the primary responsibility for the performance, professional development and appraisal processes for all CTM CRM SSPs across the US.
The CRM National Sales Manager for CTM is responsible for the review, analysis, and coordination of SSP territory and opportunity plans and ensuring the right resources are ready and able to execute against those plans. Moreover, the role is accountable for aligning with Regional Partner teams on optimizing the partner engagement strategy for the Area and Region, ensuring the SSPs appropriately engage the Dynamics CRM partners in focused demand generation programs and in qualified opportunity pursuits.
Build and manage a high-performance team who meet and exceed Dynamics CRM quota and win rates in the CTM or upper-mid market segment.
Lead the SSP team to drive strong sales pipeline for CRM by working with Platform Account Teams, Partners, the corporate and regional marketing teams and others.
Lead SSP and virtual teams through management of complex sales processes according to the Microsoft Solution Selling Process.
Foster and build executive-level Dynamics partner relationships.
Hire and manage qualified individuals with a high potential to succeed in current and future opportunities. Coach them to win in pipeline management, opportunity management, cross-team selling and overall sales and pipeline planning.
Grow and maintain healthy Dynamics customer relationships, driving deployment of solutions to achieve customer satisfaction and reference accounts / case studies for future sales.
Develop in-depth understanding of Dynamics CRM, the use cases, the related solutions, the ISV ecosystem and the value they bring in solving business problems.
Participate in, and contribute to their regional sales management staffs and cross-region amongst their community of peers. Demonstrate strong partnership with cross segment Dynamics sales and operations teams.
Be acknowledged as the national CTM sales lead for Dynamics CRM.
Manage national finance/forecasting processes for Dynamics CRM with all 3 Dynamics Regions
Requirements and Skills/Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of professional selling experience in, and 4 years of sales management experience. Knowledge of the Dynamics CRM solution or related CRM solutions is strongly preferred for individuals who fill this role. In addition, this role requires strong professional communication ability - both written and oral. The role also requires significant knowledge of the technology industry with an ability to analyze and communicate a technical solution in simple, customer-oriented terms.
