WVU School of Medicine invites applications for the position Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Pediatrics, board certified/ board eligible in pediatric infectious diseases.
The division of pediatric infectious diseases has a strong clinical commitment to medical student and resident education, clinical service in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and participation in clinical research. Opportunities include involvement in tropical medicine, cystic fibrosis, and clinical research clinical trials. In addition, the West Virginia Clinical & Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) was established in 2008. All health professional disciplines are represented within the WVCTSI with members from the major academic institutions and health systems across the state.
The Department of Pediatrics at WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Children’s Hospital form a large community of professionals dedicated to providing the finest possible pediatric patient care, education and research.
