Duties And Responsibilities

& Minimum Requirements:
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Assignment Specialist for Student Housing:
Assigns students to on-campus residential facilities and bills the students’ accounts.

Maintains computer records and generates lists.

Upholds housing policies and enforces contractual agreements.

Issues keys, performs key inventory, and requests lock changes.

Advises students in accordance with University policies toward promoting good living arrangements and makes appropriate referrals to Residence Life for counseling and mediation.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree.

Previous experience with students an asset.

Computer literate with specific experience with word processing and database software.

Excellent in both oral and written communications, with both analytical skills and a customer service orientation.

Excellence with details, with ability to prioritize and expertly manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work successfully on his or her own, as well as an effective team member.

Willingness and availability for overtime during peak periods as needed.
