Strayer University is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach MATHEMATICS for the Spring term beginning April 2013.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN ONLINE POSITION.
The following criteria must be met to apply:
To teach developmental Mathematics courses:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with experience teaching developmental mathematics to adult students and at least five years of teaching mathematics at the high school and/or postsecondary level.
To teach undergraduate Mathematics courses:
• Master’s degree in mathematics or applied mathematics or math education or statistics or physics. Master’s degree in any field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in mathematics.
To teach graduate Mathematics courses:
• Doctorate in any discipline with at least 18 graduate semester hours in statistics, mathematics or operations management
Potential faculty should have at least one year of teaching experience online and/or teaching adults in educational environment, and two to five years’ work experience.
