Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the golf club irrigation system. Must be capable of working independently. Performs all duties with a focus on exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers, attention to detail and sensitivity for confidential material.

Inspects system daily for any problems including troubleshooting hydraulic or electric system failures and satellite system failures.
Checks assigned pump stations daily for any irregularities along with recording previous 24 hour water consumption, motor hours, production well use, liquid fertilizer and a visual inspection of system pressures. Reports any unusual readings or malfunctions to supervisor.
Maintains mechanical and electrical components of complex irrigation system including liquid fertilizer pumps and tanks. Checks all irrigation heads for proper coverage. Repairs equipment associated with irrigation.
Maintains complete accurate records on all equipment maintenance associated with irrigation.
Maintains golf course drainage. Trims around irrigation heads, drains and pump house area.
Irrigates all grounds as needed.
Performs other maintenance duties as determined by the Golf Course Superintendent.
Assists with set up of computer irrigation times under supervision of Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
Other duties as assigned

Additional Requirements:
Valid Florida Driver’s License
Minimum of one year experience on golf course maintenance crew.
