The position is responsible for the safe and correct movement of materials into and from rooms according to approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
Dispense and stage components to be used on orders
Match up labels to the batch protocols prior to being processed
Pull sample requests from bulk material
Knowledgeable of the Clinical Trial Operations
Maintain inventory of components in the inventory system
Perform transactions in the inventory system
Maintain individual training plan at the required level by staying up to date on procedures
Correctly complete appropriate portions of Batch Protocols when required
Help write and investigate deviations as required
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
Education/ Experience (BMQ):
High school diploma or GED. Six months of related food or pharmaceutical packaging experience.
Certificates and/ or Licenses (BMQ):
This position has no supervisory responsibility. However, this position may provide temporary direction during production and leadership for special short-term projects or team activities in the warehouse area.
Internal and External Contacts:
This position has internal contact with all operations employees. External contact is limited to client personnel observing packaging operations and packaging machinery manufacturers training and setup personnel.
Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):
Ability to use the inventory system to find goods and make inventory transactions.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus
_8__AM to __5_PM core hours, additional hours as required.
Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds of materials. Long periods of standing and walking to deliver and remove pallets from the rooms. Dexterity and ability to assist with packaging activities when necessary.
