As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
*Serving as a Senior Planner for on-going airport system plans and/or airport master plans.
*Performing Project/Client management for aviation planning assignments.
*Will provide technical support in the preparation of proposals for airport planning and environmental pursuits.
*Providing technical excellence in aviation planning including airport system plans, master plans, airport business plans, and economic impact studies.
*Coordinating collection of project data.
*Devising new approaches to problems encountered and coordinating various technical aspects of work.
*Initiating and performing assigned project administration duties (preparing and monitoring budget and schedule, preparing correspondence, and participating in general office duties).
*Serving as a mentor for lower-level employees and acting as a recognized leader of technical and professional staff.
A successful CDM Smith candidate will have:
*10 - 13 years of previous experience (since Bachelor's degree),along with previous aviation planning experience.
*Bachelor's degree in arts, planning, engineering, or a science required.
*Experience with FAA Part 77 and FAA Design Circulars is required.
*A.I.C.P. Certification, Certification in a related field, and/or Master's degree in a related field (where Certification is not applicable) is required.
*Master's degree in planning, engineering, science, or environmental science/ management preferred.
*Understanding of FAA’s Integrated Noise Model and TERPS, pilot license and familiarity with AutoCAD a plus.
