Implement and provide support for technology solutions for Global Programs, the Center for English Language and Orientation Programs, Study Abroad in Boston and overseas and the International Students and Scholars Office. Co-manage the Global Programs IT Support Desk. Consult overseas faculty and staff on BU IT solutions. Ensure proper functioning of 280 computers (Mac and PC). Maintain remote access to all CELOP computers for updating and maintenance. Manage FileMaker database with 50+ tables, including new table design or academic and administrative projects. Co-manage web forms for administrative and academic functions. Manage output to SQL tables; design queries as necessary.
Requires: B.A./B.S. in computer science or related field, Masters Degree preferred, knowledge of Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems (all versions), complex software applications across all platforms),database management advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution techniques and one to three years of related experience.
