Clayton County Public Schools is seeking applicants for the following position(s)
Job Type: Misc/Other - degree req.
Reports To: Director of Special Projects
Duty Days: 220
Salary Range: Salary to be determined by Clayton County compensation schedule.
Works within the District and with external partners to prepare proposals for submission to potential funding sources, in order to obtain funds for ongoing or special institutional projects contributing to supporting the Clayton County School System.
Additional Job Information:
Identify and research corporate, foundation, and government sources of funding for the district.
Gather and maintain current files on current and past institutional programs and projects.
Interview faculty and school leadership teams to learn their goals and objectives and need area for support.
Determine the scope and feasibility of grant making as a funding solution for those program objectives.
Write, edit, and proofread grant proposals and project reports to the corporate, foundation, and government funders.
Coordinate the preparation, assembly, and delivery of proposal documents in a timely and organized manner.
Track the status of proposals and follow up to provide additional information as required by funding sources.
Research funding source proposal requirements and submission deadlines, and maintain a report deadline calendar.
Provide a monthly report of grant activities.
All other duties, as assigned and required, in order to perform the above services.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university Two to three years related experience and/or training; preferably in an educational environment. Georgia Professional Certification at level 5 or higher in leadership preferred; valid driver's license.
