Oracle Technical Reporting Analyst **THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN SALEM, OR**
Candidates should have Oracle Applications experience as well as possess a good understanding of the Oracle Applications table structure.
Expertise in Oracle Forms, Reports Excellent working knowledge of SQL, PLSQL Expertise in Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Javascript XML Publisher Reports Experience in developing and customization of Oracle Apps Modules OM, AR, Pricing, Shipping PL/SQL, SQL, Workflow 2.x, Forms and Reports 6i C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, proficiency in Java and C/C++ a plus. Solid experience with web services (.NET or Java) XML (DOM manipulation, SAX parsing, XPATH, XSLT) Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, tablespaces etc.) Excellent understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the translation of business requirements into them Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management. Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle API's In-depth knowledge of applications code registration procedures Good working knowledge in Unix/Linux shell scripting Ability to identify system impact for small and large scale initiatives Contribute to the development of functional/technical reporting solutions based on business/functional requirements. Monitor report environment performance, logged errors and activity. Report troubleshooting/performance tuning Detailed technical troubleshooting of day-to-day production issues. Participate in system-level tests responsible for comparing actual results with expected results. Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for coding and unit testing application software across production support, enhancements and projects Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows independently or as a part of a team Enhance performance in the Applications environment. Tuning code, reviewing table and applying indexes were needed. Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise
Preferred Job Skills Include:
Knowledge of Oracle 10g (or higher) Experience writing queries using Oracle analytical functions Experience with BI Reporting tools Experience with C# 2.0 Experience with ASP.NET 4.0, HTML, CSS JavaScript, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years Oracle PL/SQL and reporting experience Knowledge of Oracle 8i Excellent Communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in writing and analyzing SQL. Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment coordinating with internal customers to help support and enhance business systems. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including the ability to work collaboratively with business users. Ability to work independently on development projects. Demonstrated strong analytical skills. Degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field or equivalent related experience 3 years of experience as an Oracle technical/functional using SQL, Oracle Workflow, or Oracle Reports.
