a process engineer in the photo-lithography, etch, implant or thin

films departments in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This

position involves sustaining and development of CMOS and bipolar

processes. Job Description: - Creating new manufacturing processes

using design of experiments (DOE) - Qualification of new tools -

Developing and monitoring statistical process control (SPC) metrics

to improve quality - Root cause investigation of discrepant material

and implementation of yield improvement programs - Writing operating

specifications and training production technicians, and mentoring

engineering technicians

  • Master¬ís Degree required (PhD Preferred) in material science,
electrical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, or applied

physics. - Experimentation-based (vs modeling) thesis on a topic that

includes aspects of material characterization. - Candidates must have

thesis or coursework related to semiconductor process technology or

device physics. - Applicant must demonstrate superb computer and math

skills including statistics. - Candidate must be able to communicate

with audiences at any technical level. - This position requires an

adaptable, detail oriented practical thinker and problem solver who

is a quick learner and who has the ability to manage multiple
