Duties & Responsibilities
Provide psychotherapy services to adults and couples at designated LUHS primary care sites. Referrals consist of patients with primary psychological conditions and/or health-related problems.
Provide consultation and in-service forums as needed to primary care teams regarding management of patients with health and behavior issues.
Maintain documentation of patient care in compliance with departmental and institutional requirements.
Participate in the educational program of the department for residents and medical students.
Candidates must be be a licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD or PsyD degree and must have 5 or more years of postgraduate experience. Competence in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as well as other therapeutic approaches is required. Experience treating patients with comorbid medical problems is expected. Candidates should have strong collaboration skills and be accustomed to working with multi-disciplinary teams.
Minimum Education or Experience
Candidates must be be licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD or PsyD degree and completion of an APA-approved internship.
