KeyPoint Government Solutions is currently seeking candidates for an Applications Development Architect (Solution Architect) to be based in Grove City, PA with home office work available. Relocations funds are not available.

This position requires a mix of advanced technology and strategic business acumen. The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect solutions by mapping customer business problems to reusable, end-to-end technology solutions. This position will manage the complete lifecycle of large and complex projects demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience. The incumbent applies advanced analysis skills and experience in principals of software design to define appropriate customer solutions.

Essential Functions:
Engages in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to agility, business value, and end to end information technology security

Acts as a key enabler for other consultants and partner staff

Works independently on customer engagements, in which they architect and build enterprise solutions

Leads matrixed teams on large-scale projects from inception to completion

Provides direct consulting with senior leadership

Assists customers in architecting, planning, testing and deploying solutions

Articulates architectural differences between solution methods, and, the challenges and approaches to integrating solutions built on different platforms, including a working knowledge of different architectural frameworks that may be used by our customers

Assist customer account teams to identify, pursue, and close strategic business development opportunities while continually driving add-on business within existing projects

Fosters executive level relationships and translates business requirements into technology requirements for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work (SOW)

Assists and provides technical quality oversight at various points throughout a project lifecycle

Manages multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion, while maintaining high customer satisfaction

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience required

Industry certifications preferred: MCTS, MCITP, CISSP, CNA

Minimum 6 years of software systems development and 3 to 5 years practical experience leading application development professionals in large design efforts and coordinating project teams

Ability to learn and adapt quickly

Demonstrated excellence at presenting complex technical topics to both executive and technical personnel

Large enterprise deployment experience in complex heterogeneous environments

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proven hands-on experience in architecture and deployment, as well as knowledge in some of the following areas: mobility, directory services, SQL, Windows platform design and implementation, messaging and collaboration architecture and deployment

Proven, current, in-depth experience/knowledge of implementation of large enterprise networked computing environments using Active Directory, Exchange Messaging , and Lync is preferred

Demonstrated leadership, analytical and problem solving skills

Must be able to work under general supervision in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities

U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance)

Candidates selected for this position must pass a mandatory post-offer drug test

Federal Background Investigation REQUIRED, please read.

The selected candidate for this position must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated government background investigation. This background investigation requires U.S. citizenship and will include an investigation of 10+ years of history including financial, education, employment, medical, residence, and personal records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by KeyPoint.
