The Mental Health Worker serves as a member of the nursing team, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse, providing direct and indirect patient care. The Mental Health Worker fosters patient participation in the program milieu and offers support to patients coping with crisis situations.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or GED. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS (CPR) certification and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training within 90 days of hire.
Preferred: One (1) year inpatient psychiatric experience.
Variable shifts, Nights and Days and does include weekend rotation
