In this role, you will be responsible for the sale of software solutions utilizing direct consultative selling to current and prospective accounts in the Federal Intelligence Market, particularly the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI). Responsibilities include all aspects of territory and account management; communicating company pricing, sales and licensing philosophy and procedures; developing sales and marketing plans; analyzing market trends; developing sales tools; coordinating with internal sales, Alliance partners, presales engineers, services, and performing other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field of study with:
5 years of proven experience selling software solutions (including related training products and services), computer hardware, or telecommunications software/hardware
Experience selling software to the Federal Intelligence Community
Ability to travel 25% of the time as business needs require
Work location is: Arlington, VA; Rockville, MD; or Ellicott City, MD
To remain in the position employees must maintain their TS/SCI clearance
Associate's degree in the same field(s) with an additional 2 years of the stated essential qualifications or a high school diploma (GED) with an additional 4 years of the stated essential qualifications
Knowledge of basic sales techniques
Knowledge of hardware and/or software acquisitions cycles and buying influences
Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and to develop a sales plan
Ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to SAS System applications and user needs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience selling to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and/or Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
Experience selling complex, enterprise software
Experience working with the system integrator community
