Position Title: Inventory Control Clerk
Department Name: Maintenance

• Primary Purpose of this position: (briefly summarize the major purpose of this
position in two or three sentences)

Responsible for providing purchasing information for all set up consumption
inventory. Manage all consumption parts set up in SAP system including set up,
min/max adjustments, reorder points, purchase notifications to purchasing, cycle
counting and inventory accuracy. Develop and review reports from SAP.

• Major duties and responsibilities (List in order importance the major
activities and end results that comprise the key aspects of the job)

• Input transaction data into SAP in order to maintain a running inventory
balance at all times.
• Be able to move light weight material, no greater than 50 lbs. On a frequent
basis, to receive, stock and issue parts.
• Maintain a customer friendly environment
• Receive approved request from various departments for required items and issue
the same to authorized individuals.
• Receive inventory using SAP, open boxes and stock inventory in proper
location.
• Accept returned materials and determine its usability.
• Perform physical inventories to reconcile stock records, assess min/max levels
and review inventory activity.
• Review purchase requisitions for data integrity and promptly expedite to
purchasing.
• Create new item inventory and location.
• Generate reports in both SAP and MS applications as needed.
• Comply to EHS&S procedures for safe storage of flammables, hazardous
materials, chemicals and hazardous waste.
• Locate all parts in the system using SAP
• Compile kits for PM and Work Orders, coordinate kits with Maintenance Planners
and PM schedules
• Maintain a work area in a clean and orderly condition, apply 5S methods and
practice sustainability.
• Work safely when performing all daily task and notify management of all unsafe
conditions
• Fill in as needed to cover for store room colleagues.
• Communicate all stock outs and all stock outs causing downtime immediately to
MRO Supervisor
• Discuss vender selection and vender problems with purchasing.
• Perform regular and routine audits for store room and address all
deficiencies.
• Responsible for start-up and shut-down of MRO store room as dictated by
production schedule
• Must acquire and maintain a certified Fork Lift operator license

• Requirements
• Must be available to work overtime during the week and on weekends.
• Must be able to work independently
• High school degree or equivalent
• 2 Years minimum MRO experience
• OHSA Forklift certified license
