We are seeking a client-focused individual to serve as a Client Account Manager . This individual will be the high-level, relationship-focused point of contact for designated key clients. This position supports RETTEW’s vision and strategic initiatives by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial long-term relationships with key clients. The Client Account Manager takes complete ownership for designated clients and assumes the lead responsibility for delighting and maximizing opportunities with these clients.
The main responsibilities of the Client Account Manager fall into the following areas:
Client Delight - Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships horizontally and vertically with key decision-makers within client’s organization. Perform ongoing activities required to develop and maintain key relationships including but not limited to client visits, entertaining, participation in client events, etc. Be onsite and/or visible with client regularly. Know client’s business inside and out including possessing an understanding of market trends and competitors within the client’s industry. Assist in developing client marketing plans.
Maximizing Business Opportunities : Maintain an ongoing and active role with clients with an emphasis on maximizing additional business opportunities for all regions and service areas within RETTEW. Analyze past and present sales from clients; develop a plan to expand upon services provided. Educate client on available services.
Staff Development: Supervise, develop, and mentor staff as appropriate. Work with project managers and project teams as needed to ensure client delight.
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
At least 8 years of responsible experience in project management, client relationship management and/or business development for an engineering firm required
Experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desired
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and follow through skills
