Regular, Full-Time, RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the University of Hawaii Kauai Community College (Kauai CC), for the Rural Hawaii 1 (RH1) Project, located in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii. Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws.

MINIMUM MONTHLY SALARY: $2,459/Mon.

DUTIES: Provides technical support to meet requirements of the grant. Maintains, updates, implements, and revises software in Student Services as needed. Extracts data from Banner, ODS, SARS, and other programs as needed, and creates reports where appropriate. Assists Institutional Researcher and Student Services with data needs and reporting.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university in Computer Science, Educational Research or related field. EXPERIENCE: At least three (3) years of progressively responsible and technical experience in providing technical software and data support. ABIL/KNOW/SKILLS: Strong knowledge of computer software programs. Must possess strong computer software skills with commonly used professional software programs. Must be able to write SQL or other related programs for data extraction, and able to write programs as needed.

SECONDARY QUALIFICATIONS: Able to use SAS, SPSS, or other similar programs. Experience with externally funded projects, grant data tracking, and report writing.
