Position Description
Position Overview:
Expedia Finance is seeking a Senior Business Transformation Process Analyst Role for a large scale financial systems implementation. Ideal candidate will have Oracle ERP implementation experience on a global scale. The desired individual will have a proven track record of working cross functionally across all levels of the organization. Strong knowledge of accounting processes and technical experience combined with strong interpersonal skills are required.
Responsibilities :
Documenting “As Is” and “To Be” processes
Partnering with key business users to understand their business and challenges
Revenue pre-scoping and business process mapping work
Leveraging the Oracle system to resolve business issues or provide new capabilities
Create and or review BRD’s for completeness and fit with Oracle
Coordinating with technology to ensure that the BRD’s are understood and queued up in a timely manner
QA review of business test scripts, configurations, functional specs etc.
Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in General Ledger, financial reporting, sub-ledger accounting and fixed asset reporting.
Strong understanding of how Oracle works and how it’s configured
Strong statutory reporting with multi-currency
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with all phases of software product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, specifications, development, test and product release.
Work Experience and Education Guidelines :
Team lead or Project Manager on at least 3+ full cycle implementations
5+ years of Accounting experience in a global company
Accounting degree and CPA highly desirable
Core Competencies :

Ability to flex leadership style to accommodate a wide variety of team member styles and leverage team diversity
Ability to manage geographically distributed teams
