CNC Machinist CNC Machinist Modineer, a leading TS 16949 certified metal components manufacturer, located in Niles, MI is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist/Programmer for it's 2nd Shift. The candidate will be responsible for the programming, set-up and operation of all 2nd shift CNC's well as the Wire EDM Machine. Responsibilities also include working with AutoCAD and Hypermill, as well as being familiar with AGIE and Sodick wire burners. Ability to set up multiple CNC mills and experience in operating manual lathes. Mill grinders & cut-off saws are also highly desirable. The successful candidate should to be able to lead other toolmakers in both die repairs and new die builds. Knowledge of MIG & TIG welding is a plus and a Journeyman's certification is required.
