The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive, high-quality service to Cardiac surgery patients, their families and staff throughout the perioperative continuum. This position uses specific safe and culture-related physical, intellectual, psychosocial and developmental attributes in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Required: Michigan license, successful completion of national certification exam. Preferred: Documentation of prior adult cardiac surgery experience including (endoscopic) vein harvesting.
