The position of Senior Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the assigned Director and Marketing Department.

***THIS POSITION IS A TEMPORARY TO REGULAR POSITION***

Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Actively supports Director and Department.
2. Interacts with all levels of the workforce in a professional manner.
3. Prioritizes and produces quality work in the face of a heavy, constantly changing workload.
4. Maintains calendars, makes meeting arrangements and helps direct and prioritize priorities for the Director.
5. Coordinates travel arrangements as needed
6. Prepares spreadsheets and provides graphic overviews as necessary.
7. Orders supplies and samples; responsible for completion of P.O.s and assisting in budget management.
8. Manages consulting agreement requests and payments.
9. Facilitates marketing material approvals for Franchise.
10. Special projects as assigned, including production of meeting minutes when necessary (e.g. National Sales Meetings, ad hoc teams).

Essential Job Functions:
1. Outstanding organizational skills with strong communication skills (veral and written)
2. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
3. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Ability to prioritize and organize extremely busy and changing workload
5. Project management skills preferred

Basic Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1. Outstanding organizational skills with strong communication skills (veral and written)
2. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
3. Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Ability to prioritize and organize extremely busy and changing workload
5. Project management skills preferred

Education and/or Experience:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred or comparable years of experience.
Six to eight years of administrative experience with progressive job enrichment at the manager or director level. Supervisory experience a plus.
Ability to work independently and make independent decisions in all areas of job performance.
Expertise in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to supervise individuals, direct workday activities, assess job performance.
Ability to communicate with diverse and sometimes irate individuals and to handle calmly and efficiently situations ranging from routine to emergency.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, exercising discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance.
Requires exceptional competence performing note taking and/or project management.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day, including the ability to perform administrative work for a variety of people while organizing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Must have demonstrated through past job performance the ability to independently organize and administer office procedures and special projects without supervision under pressured circumstances.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
