The IT Recruiter works with IT business leaders to develop a multiyear workforce plan to maximize the value of human capital in meeting business objectives. He/she works with specific business functions to source, screen and provide hiring managers guidance on selecting the best candidate to fill an open position. The value of the position is realized thru the quality of hire, cost of hire, and consistency of the hiring process.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Develops a workforce plan to maximize human capital assets - through utilization of industry and internal trend data
  • Develops a hiring profile matched to the workforce plan
  • Follows guidelines and system to post positions
  • Develops a sourcing strategy to generate a pool of diverse candidates based on market availability, workforce plan and compensation plan
  • Executes the sourcing strategy utilizing his/her sourcing capabilities, internal sourcing resources, and/or manages the relationship for external resources , sourcing events
  • Screens candidates to a slate of 3 to 5 applicants through utilization of functional knowledge and critical skill set
  • Facilitates onsite selection process including the debrief meeting and disposition process
  • Generates target compensation offer and negotiates with candidate
  • Aligns hiring results to the workforce plan to continue to enhance the skill of the hiring manager and department VP
  • Recruits candidates at career fairs
  • Enhances process flow
  • Recommends technology solutions
  • Researches and benchmarks recruitment methods and trends
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate work experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of recruiting experience including:
Developing workforce plans to maximize human capital assets

Developing hiring profiles matched to the workforce plan

Developing sourcing strategies

Utilizing advanced search techniques

Development of candidate pipelines

Screening candidates to slate

Influencing hiring managers

  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel, work, outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fortune 100 company or executive search firm work experiences
  • HR Generalist experience
