Our Siemens’ MobileMD organization is seeking a seasoned Network Analyst.
Candidates should have experience designing, acquiring, and implementing mission critical networking infrastructure, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Working within a team, you will be responsible for the infrastructure architecture, design, acquisition, implementation and testing of network technologies. You will define, document and implement strategy, direction and architectures for the nationwide networking environment. This requires extensive and broad functional experience with switching, routing, firewall, VPN, wireless, and network management across a wide range of complex architectures, platforms and mediums. Such components include but are not limited to telecommunications, routers/firewalls, and other networking devices as well as various security systems. You will research, design, plan and implement new network technologies into current operating environments. You will provide enhancements to existing network services. You will configure, deploy, fine-tune, monitor, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, support and repair the network as required. You will report directly to the Director of engineering.
Required experience: installation, configuration and maintenance of various network topologies and technologies (e.g., routers, firewalls, switches) in WAN, LAN and VLAN environments, redundant Internet connectivity and virtual private networks; expertise in creating reliable, scalable network architectures with fault tolerance and disaster recoverability; expert working knowledge of setup, configuration, upgrading Cisco technologies to include routers and firewalls.
Senior Systems/Network Engineer with 7-10 years experience. This motivated team player will be well-rounded, detail oriented, a self starter, innovative and thrive in a small, fast-paced environment. This person should have excellent problem solving skills. as well as possess the following attributes, experience and skills:
Network Administrator / Engineer Qualifications:
• An Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Network Engineering and Systems Administration
• Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, ACLs, and network-based VPN as well as solid knowledge of IP routing and routing protocols
• Some relevant experience in the Healthcare IT environment is a plus
• Certification in Cisco technologies is valuable
