Responsible for the flow of materials for Production Crafts. Works under routine supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Demonstrates on a daily basis Ownership, Responsibility, and Accountability (ORA).
Create and maintain an exemplary ORA compliant work space.
Interfacing with both yard personnel and vendors to identify material requirements.
Maintaining the daily product flow and all related material documentation requirements. May include working with Timekeeping and accounting issues.
Maintaining a clean, safe, secure, and organized warehousing environment.
Ensuring that products are made available to the crafts in a timely manner. May include ordering of supplies.
Properly storing, staging, and marking materials.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Ensuring that consumables and tools are available for crafts use.
May be assigned to work any shift.
Must be physically able to access and tour all spaces on board vessels and within AMA facilities.

The employee may routinely be required to operate and endure the physical vigor of working in and operating equipment throughout the yard. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (2) years of material control experience. Some College or certified technical training is preferred. Must be computer literate. Must have 3+ yrs forklift operating experience . Must have overhead crane experience.
