POSITION TITLE: Regional Licensing Executive
DEPARTMENT: General Licensing, 67
REPORTS TO: General Licensing Management
POSITION SUMMARY: Sells the value of music and the service BMI provides. This position is commission/salary based.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
Initiates in-person presentations to sell the BMI license agreement. This would include overnight travel.
Initiates in-person collection calls as specifically assigned.
Initiates traditional telephone sales calls as necessary from an in home office.
Develops territorial sales plans for approval by team management.
Manages all assigned opportunities.
Updates internal Sales and Financial computer systems.
Responsible for lead generation within a specific territory.
Ensures that all accounts have proper supporting documentation.
Performs music researcher/logging responsibilities.
Maintains industry association relations as needed.
Physical/Visual Activities or Demands: Physical/visual activities or demands that are commonly associated with the performance functions of this job.
Sitting, talking, hearing, walking.
Concentrated mental and visual attention with normal hand-eye coordination.
Generally negligible physical effort, but occasional moving of 1 to 10 lb. items.
Ability to travel.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Environmentaland atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the functions of this job.
Normal in home office conditions.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in a field sales environment required.
Skills and Abilities: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
Travel as required

Must be motivated by a base/commission compensation structure
Must be a self-starter
Demonstrated communications skills
Database maintenance skills
Ability to manage multiple projects
Proficient with Windows, MS Office, SMS, Oracle and OIT
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Knowledge of licensing products and licensing process
