Account coordination to National Accounts, National Healthcare & Education GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) customers, Account Directors, V.P.s of Healthcare & Education, and to the servicing divisions. Maintain and strengthen the relationship with internal/external customers by understanding and responding to their needs in a timely and effective manner utilizing appropriate resources as need.
Serve as the single point of in house contact for National Accounts, National Healthcare & Education GPO customers.
Learn and understand the complexity of the GPO structure (e.g. corporate parent, group purchasing partners, corporate multi unit, customer hierarchies, direct parent and their children).
Effectively communicate and coordinate the Customer's service needs to the servicing USF Divisions and vice versa utilizing CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
Assist with the preparation of RFP (Request for proposal) responses, market basket research, analysis and final format.
Continue to look at ways of standardizing and centralizing resources to facilitate better National Healthcare & Education GPO account coordination from the Rosemont Headquarter office without requesting additional field resources (i.e. the Divisions or Directors); though maintain proactive communication.
Working with the divisions and corporate purchasing regarding inventory issues.
Assist with high level reporting utilizing EDW (Discoverer), Oracle based Business Analytics, Prime, Prism, Merlin, Access, and Excel.
Provide high-level quarterly business reviews utilizing Provisions, EDW, PowerPoint, Merlin, and Excel.
Communicating with clients' corporate purchasing dept to help facilitate the handling of any concerns or issues that arise.
Assist SPL Coordinator in procuring expiring vendor contracts by the 15
of the previous month.
Receive and maintain record of all vendor contracts from National Healthcare & Education GPO customers and forward to the corporate SPL department.
Working with divisions and corporate SPL department to ensure correct pricing to the customer. Coordinate any audits between divisions and SPL Department.
Assist National Accounts, National Healthcare & Education GPO customers with the Rostering process, Arrow setup, incentive setup (i.e. New Business, Direct Parent, Volume, EB%, Drop, & A/R).
College Degree Preferred or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years customer service experience required. Foodservice experience preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint required. Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization and customers.
Some travel required.
