Specific Job Description
The F-16/F-22 Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Lead will manage the day to day operations with a 60+ LM Aero staff at the F-16 or F-22 Combined Test Force, Edwards AFB, including flight test technical and staff level planning, flight test requirements integration, represented mechanic staff, cost and budget management, and integration with both USAF, Fort Worth, and LM Aero requirements. Demonstrate leadership qualities: Shape the Future, Build Effective Relationships, Energize the Team, Deliver Results, Model Personal Excellence, Integrity and Accountability. Responsible for coordinating training, work assignments. Work closely with Fort Worth Flight Test, the individual Programs, the SG, support contractors and the AFFTC to ensure flight test execution is performed successfully to schedule and budget. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of flight test results. Through dialogue, planning, and coordination, develop and increase further the technical relationships with the AFFTC, SG, other contractors and Fort Worth. Work with DT, OT, and SG leadership in establishing and executing test requirements. Responsible for the accomplishment of engineering and maintenance tasks within the various budgets. Coordinate the engineering and maintenance resources with the requirements of Fort Worth Flight Test and Programs, Systems Group, and 416th/411th Squadrons. Develop near and long term staffing plans that account for future aircraft flight months, test and data processing tasks, Program and SG requirements. A broad knowledge of the F-22 and or F-16 air vehicles and maintenance is essential. This is a non-flight status position.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
For this particular position an active Top Secret security clearance, with a current background investigation is preferred.
