This position reports to the Director of Sales and will find US Government opportunities that require use of the products we design and sell. This position will also seek out proposals offered by Government opportunities that require new designs, similar products, or proposals seeking new technology or products.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:

This position requires the knowledge and understanding of the US Government bidding and procurement process. This includes GSA contracts and generating Source Approval Request (SAR) documentation for various products. Familiarity with NAICS codes, SIC codes, FSC codes, HUB zones etc. for use in securing Government solicitations and bid opportunities. This position will help to drive Sales and growth of new Federal and State contract opportunities. This position also requires experience in understanding RFQ’s, analyzing them, and ultimately generating the documentation needed for the RFQ process.
The individual for this position will work very close with procurement officials and contracting offices, therefore current or recent past experience working with Government bid opportunities is desired.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Generating new State & Local Government Sales opportunities, grow existing business, negotiating and monitoring new contract opportunities. Provide continuous improvement initiatives and assist in coordinating new account implementation(s) including directing contract rollout by web or tele-conference.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel Spreadsheets & PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Government procurement processes in some form.
- Excellent Organizational, Time Management, and Communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to work in a Team environment, Contact District Managers, and aid in Government Sales.
The ideal candidate would be located somewhere in the North-West, near our headquarters in Boise Idaho. However, remote location applicants will be taken. This position does not require a daily presence in our corporate office.
