Intermediate level position, acts independently or under general direction. Analyzes procedures and problems within manual/automated health care systems; reports findings and when applicable recommends options for resolutions. Formulates system scope and objectives. Confers with professional staff to ascertain specific requirements and assists in the completion of programming specifications. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.

Job Qualifications (required):

Bachelor’s Degree in health care administration, sciences, medical communications, statistics, mathematics, accounting, computer sciences or 3-5 years experience using or installing systems relative to the assigned area of responsibility in lieu of degree.
Training in systems analysis with special emphasis in project management, data processing standards, supervisory techniques, user relations, data gathering techniques, written and oral communications, and management information systems relative to the assigned area(s) of responsibility (i.e. financial applications, patient care applications, etc.)
General knowledge of main frame, mini and micro computer hardware
Minimum of three to five years work experience in a health care environment using or installing systems relative to the assigned area of responsibility
Experience in project planning and procedural analysis

Job Qualifications (preferred):

Lawson Related:
Three to five years system administration experience with Lawson Software's Financial Applications.
Demonstrated technical administrative experience in several of the following areas / components of a Lawson Software computing environment: UNIX OS, Oracle database, Lawson Security, Websphere, Mobile Supply Chain Management, Microsoft Add-Ins, Crystal Reporting, 4GL Programming. Release and version upgrade experience in both LSF and applications will be heavily considered.

Epic Related:
Epic clinical application certification.
Two to four years system build and implementation experience with Epic clinical applications.
Demonstrated technical administrative experience with an Epic clinical application, including but not limite to master file maintenance and clinical build (i.e. smart sets, order sets, documentation flowsheets).
Experience with clinical and business workflow analysis for development of electronic solutions within assigned application.
