Maintains daily operational performance of security system and space planning tools under the direction of the Director of Facilities.
Duties – Security
In conjunction with the Director of Facilities, develops and implements security procedures and policies as needed company wide.
Manages all card access and employee badge systems, maintains facility key system, door and combination locks.
Develops criteria for periodic system audits, perform audits as scheduled, and investigates abnormalities.
Assists with the development of appropriate procedures in relation to health and life safety.
Duties – Space Planning
Maintains and updates seating charts for all domestic facilities (Visio).
Publishes .pdf drawings and floor plans for all buildings, including employee names.
Produces reports of various move related statistics.
General – facilities
Coordinates maintenance on office furniture, fixtures, and equipment (ffe).
Performs light repairs on ffe, and installs white boards and typical office items.
Requires flexible work hour availability: Conditions include occasional night or weekend responsibilities.
This position requires being on call for emergencies.
This position may require travel.
All other duties, as assigned.
Basic Qualifications –
High School Diploma or GED, with three years related facilities experience.
Familiarity with use of light hand tools. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force, frequently walk and/or climb stairs, lifts, carries, pushes or pulls objects, operates machines, participates in assembly, and may climb heights
Ability to be self directed and motivated. Professional, customer focused attitude.
Discrete, with ability to handle and protect company proprietary information.
Preferred Qualifications -
Experience with CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.
Strong Computer skills – Microsoft suite
Proactive and creative thinker with ability to exercise good judgment
