MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
Performs work planning responsibilities. Plans the overall use of personnel and other resources in organizations segments controlled through one or more levels of supervision.
Performs work direction responsibilities. Reviews and analyzes work accomplishments, cost, and utilization of subordinates to evaluate work progress and control costs. Provide information and advice to higher level supervisors, management officials and staff organizations on work requirements.
Performs administration responsibilities. Develops performance plans, advise of performance expectations. Supports the agencys EEO program through allocation of assigned personnel.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at a WS-09 or equivalent level exercising technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing trades and labor work for the shift on a day to day basis.
1. Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of trade(s) and/or craft(s) supervised and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity/Equal Employment Treatment.
2. Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.
4. Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission.
5. Ability to manage overall direction and coordination of subordinate work activietes and functions and implement sound personnel policies, practices and procedures through one or more levels of subordinate supervisors.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
