The Pricing Specialist supports the store leadership team by executing strategies that consistently meet and exceed company standards. The Pricing Specialist drives for the efficient execution of company defined best practices and productivity standards markdowns, signing, marketing, and Item of the Week. The Pricing Specialist ensures a seamless customer experience that models service behaviors and drives productivity, sales, and profitability. The Pricing Specialist supports the on-going pricing and promotional integrity of the store and may assist in, but is not the owner of, moving product at the time of markdowns/promo events to support shop concepts and drive sales within the department/store. Ownership of moves resides with Merchandising Leaders in the store. The Pricing Specialist is cross-trained in all work centers to best help support store needs at any time. This Specialist has keys and can open the building to begin the markdown or promo process, but should not be the only Leader in the store during open hours for more than three hours per shift. The Pricing Specialist can also close the building, but should never be the closing Leader during peak times. Responsibilities Business & Financial Work in partnership with ASM and Store Manager to ensure movement of merchandise meets company Presentation Guidelines Understands and utilizes reports to direct markdowns, signage, and marketing Ensures productivity goals are met while adhering to company defined best practices Ensures efficiencies in merchandise handling to meet payroll budget and efficiency goals Partners with Merchandise Leaders to ensure proper flexing of clearance merchandise Communicates successes, opportunities and solutions to ASM or Store Manager to drive results Managing & Operating Performs Leader on Duty responsibilities Opens the store in accordance with company standards Practices and ensures all company policies and procedures are followed Utilizes recovery statements to minimize external loss Communicates successes, opportunities and solutions to the Manager to drive business results Executes all activities related to Risk Management & Safety Ensure store meets Store Compliance Audit requirements Ensure store is compliant with daily cleaning activities Executes the tasks of markdowns, signing, and marketing. Supports the team and processes by ensuring that tools and equipment are readily available Supports the team in effectively utilizing Loss Prevention best practices. Customer & Markets Exhibits behaviors to drive service standards
          • Ensures that the actions and activities support Old Navy's service standards during shipment process and LOD shifts
          • Ensures a clean hazard-free shopping and working environment through daily cleaning Activities

          Education / Experience
          • High School diploma or equivalent desired
          • Two-year college degree or equivalent work experience preferred
          • 12 months with Old Navy or prior equivalent desired
          • Prior experience working within a team desired
          Physical Requirements
          • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
          • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
          • Ability to effectively maneuver around salesfloor and stockroom, repetitive bending prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
          Schedule Requirements
          • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend, and overnight shifts
