A fiercely independent, progressive Southern agency is looking for a planning and strategic wunderkind; a master marketer with a diverse background.
We need a powerful strategic visionary who can elicit valuable consumer insights and can translate findings into ingenious, well-crafted strategic communications plans that drive client results. This person will work in close partnership with the Account Management and Integrated Creative teams to inspire with the nuggets of information that can be converted into powerful creative language and ideas that result in growing our client’s brand and business.
Ability to gather, synthesize insights and research into cohesive strategic marketing platforms and steward through the creative and go-to-market process. Understands the client’s business issues and competitive landscape, the target needs and motivators, purchasing dynamics, channels, competitors, and overall marketplace realities.
Be armed with ability to engage with C-suite level clients up to CEO level. We want a cultural anthropologist and sociologist of modern day consumer trending behavior.
This person will also be the leader of the agency’s newly evolved Strategy & Planning Department, along with building their own internal organization. They will be tasked to hire the right people with precise strategic talent who will carry forth the vision, smarts, ingenuity and savvy thinking that will set us apart from the pack. So, strong management and talent building skills are a must.

Undergraduate degree, advanced degree preferred.
Prior top 50 agency experience in a senior strategic role.
Minimum 8 years experience in a strategic planning role with increasing levels of engagement and leadership.
Fortune 500 brand experience.
Broad experience in several key consumer verticals (technology, packaged goods, QSR).
