Assist patrons with ticket distribution, via ticket purchase (Selling) or picking up tickets previously arranged (Will Call) and provide general information pertaining to STAPLES Center, and the events at STAPLES Center. These transactions should be provided in a friendly and accurate manner, while maintaining a professional appearance with constant consideration being given to customer satisfaction.
Service customer(s) in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist customers with ticket purchase using STAPLES Center's ticket software of choice (Ticketmaster).
Distribution of Will Call (previously arranged tickets) to customers for various events.
Assist customers with general STAPLES Center information (i.e. event availability, event pricing, event seat selection, event scheduling, general parking information).
Accurately reconcile all sales and will call receipts.
Interact in a professional manner when dealing with various building tenants (i.e. Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles Avengers, and other event presenters).
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to accurately and efficiently deal with large quantities of cash or other payment methods such as credit cards, checks or money orders.
Must be able to exhibit excellent communications skills.
Must have an understanding or have the ability to learn basic computer skills.
Must show commitment and willingness to provide excellent customer service.
Candidates are required to have at least one (1) year prior customer service experience, preferably in a sports/entertainment venue environment.
All applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants must be able to work at least five (5) event events per week and are required to be available to work all weekend (Saturday/Sunday) events throughout the year.
