Under the direction of the Chief Social Worker, serves as Associate Director of Social Work: coordinates an adult intake pavilion and provides direct line supervision of clinical staff on the unit. Develops implements explains programs, policies and procedures and provides consultative services to other professional and nonprofessional staff, makes recommendations on changes to new and established policies, procedures and standards of care; recommends staffing levels for intake pavilion; promotes and implements team work, program development and discipline boundaries.
Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to a master's degree in social work from an accredited college or university with a minimum of four years professional social work including at least two years supervisory experience. Requires registration as licensed clinical social worker with the State of Illinois.
