This candidate will provide Helpdesk Support for Information Technology Agency/Army (ITA) located at the Pentagon and other locations within the Nation Capital Region (NCR). This position includes desk side technical support to approximately 20000+ users in regards to desktops, laptops, blackberries, and software applications. Provide routine and emergency support to end users in order to ensure continued communications and productivity. Service request may come in the form of tickets or walk-in requests. Team members will provide the full complement of customer support services for the tasks covered as determined by the government. Technicians must have the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner. They must identify and respond to urgent issues, and performing on-site or remote immediate resolution when necessary in a multi-platform environment. Maintain user accounts, set up printers, and install hardware/software according to schedule, determine scope levels, follow objectives and standards. Respond to and resolve problem tickets utilizing various tools.

Work hours may vary. This contract requires a US citizen with a DoD security clearance (selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information).

Required Skills:
  • DoD 8570 Certified: A+, Net+, MCP
  • ITIL V3 Foundations Knowledge
  • Experienced in Help Desk and Service Desk environments
Desired Skills:
  • Experienced in DameWare or other remote desktop control software
  • BMC Remedy IT Service Management
  • Security+
Required Skills

High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training sufficient enough to perform required basic calculations, electronic/mechanical assembly/test, computer operations, etc. and less than 1 Year of experience. MUST BE A US CITIZEN WITH AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
