PROJECT MANAGER/CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR GROWING MANUFACTURER
Work with assigned clients and become their one point of contact. Keep them informed through the entire process from sale through manufacturing and then final delivery. Working closely with sales and production you'll answer the clients questions and provide information through excel spreadsheets. You'll take care of your clients from cradle to grave including sending out the invoices.
This is a strong customer service position so great communication skills are needed. While there is a high level of customer engagement, it is also project management focused position. So, experience developing long term relationships with customers is preferred in contrast to a call center customer service background.
Since you'll be entrusted with cultivating a relationship with key clients, you'll need good computer skills, a sense of humor, and a commitment to get the job done, rather than be a clock watcher.
Salary starts in the 30's with health benefits offered. There is a large upside potential financially for long term loyalty and most of the current project management team have been in their jobs for many years so these positions don't open up very often.
This position is available because one of the project managers was promoted to an outside sales job. There are a wide range of products manufactured and assembled -- and when the products leave the plant they go to large retail stores like Walmart, Costco, Trader Joes, etc.
Dependability, showing up for work every day and being a strong team player are essential. This is a very dynamic environment with lots of change and lots of different projects being manufactured.
