Our ideal ops person has an understanding of how all the sponsorship pieces fit together - from the sponsor to the midnight shipment due the next day.
We need someone who can provide the right sponsor TLC, improve our logistics practices and act as a consummate sounding board for our sales team. You look at getting your hands dirty and traveling 10 plus weeks a year as an upside - not to mention being around great boat product and our own team of roustabouts.
At the core we need someone who is a right-hand and can provide: Contract fulfillment, vendor research/integration, and an overall level-headed approach to making our sponsors happy.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Management of sponsorship fulfillment as a part of the sponsorship team, for 100-plus sponsorship programs at 21 shows, communicating contracted needs, developing solutions for programs.
Oversee all logistics for show sponsorships to include shipping coordination, financial tracking of program and vendor management.
Provide sponsorship insight and advice to sales team, agency partners and operations.
Direct the installation of sponsorship display with contracted labor, coordinate all on-site operations needs for sponsors, with management of event promotions and/or other related sponsor programs; oversee break down of sponsorship programs and move-outs. Photograph all sponsorship elements and show highlights.
Provide accurate tracking of all deliverables and create detailed post-event documentation.
Limited sponsorship sales may also be required for some markets.
Able to travel a minimum of 12 weeks per year.
