The Sr Manager, Business Intelligence Services will be responsible for the development of and overall profitability of data centered subscription services. The successful candidate will ensure that resultant service offerings, based on review, aggregation and synthesis of existing business intelligence data sources, generate new revenue streams or enhance the profitability of existing revenue streams. Ideal service offerings shall consider the intersection of business intelligence data and customer needs while enhancing user experience and building upon the Honeywell Brand.

The successful candidate will understand and embrace opportunities to implement services improvement initiatives, while ensuring that product and service offerings and changes are aligned with overall services strategies and an objective to increase revenues based on services offerings alone.

The Sr Manager, Business Intelligence Services will develop and maintain service-offering strategies and roadmaps, and will also develop market analysis and segmentation, competitive analysis, voice of the customer (VOC) analysis, business cases and value propositions.

The Sr Manager, Business Intelligence Services will lead the product team, and partner with both business and functional resources to drive strategy execution. This position will also interface regularly with the other Aerospace Marketing, business and functional leaders to ensure goal alignment and consistent strategies.

Approximately < $100m annual revenue

Specific areas of responsibility include:
Managing emerging services offerings from concept through end of life-cycle

Research, analysis and synthesis of business intelligence data from disparate data sources

Managing and maintaining established partnerships (joint ventures)

Owns and manages service-offering life cycle financial performance (profit and loss)

Develop and execute strategic plans, service-offering plans, including cost and growth strategies

Develop cost reduction strategies and business intelligence strategies that drive execution efficiencies

Sets strategy for services portfolio optimization and organizational execution requirements

Product performance and integrity:
Owns service-offering prioritization and approves all funding requirements and changes, and manages funding of the changes

Approves all service offering product line financial analysis in accordance with estbablished roadmaps/strategies. Determines and approves pricing inputs for all financial analysis, value pricing, pricing strategy and catalogue publications

Align resources for service-offering strategy deployment for offering execution- including capital, RD&E, recovery, and technical capabilities (engineering and manufacturing)

Leads Product Action Committee related to area of responsibility - to drive cross functional services strategy execution

Develop and execute integrated services-offering, technology, and environment roadmaps

Defines value propositions based on customer needs analysis and incorporates into value proposition/go to market strategies

Collaborates with the Customer Business Teams

Aircraft operational experience and or pilot highly desired

MIS/IT experience a plus

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field (engineering, economics, math, or related discipline)

Minimum of 5 years directly related experience (experience managing and promoting high technology products from inception through sunset)

8 plus years of total work experience

Additional Qualifications:
Proven track record in product management

Strong business-to-business analytical skills, financial acumen, critical thinking and marketing skills

MBA School highly desirable

Strong background and knowledge of marketing processes, principles and tools, and a proven track record of successful new product planning and introduction

Strong program management or site leadership background

Strong background with XYZ customer’s Proven ability to collaborate across product lines and technologies to develop joint strategies and roadmaps

Proven ability to collaborate with functions (engineering / ISC / C&PS) to execute product plans and roadmaps

Broad aerospace product knowledge is desirable

Ability to think strategically and to scope tasks and set goals

Ability to manage business and organizational vision by communicating a compelling purpose, driving change cross-organizationally, and inspiring and motivating people and organizations

Knowledge of Aerospace business allowing for innovative concepts and promotion of new ideas

Strong written and presentation communication skills

Customer contact experience desired
