Learn & Dev Porfolio Manager
Youll lead an organization to design, develop and implement learning solutions that meets our business needs, and exceeds our employees expectations across the globe. Youll need to rely upon your big picture thinking skills and your proven ability to manage a portfolio of different products and services. Youll know how to design flexible learning modules and techniques that will meet the needs of different business groups and geographies. You will ensure enterprise solutions make for dynamic, exciting and effective learning anywhere in the world, instead of bland 'vanilla solutions. You will be a member of Talent Learning Development staff and oversee a team of Portfolio L&D Managers and Program Managers to redefine the learning experience across Intel.
Areas of responsibility:
Lead global matrix team of Learning Development Portfolio curriculum and program managers who manage the process of translating the strategic roadmap into a comprehensive plan for Learning Development organization, and associated learning products for employee, manager, supervisor and leader development.
Build appropriate connections and lateral process and partner with relevant stakeholders and partners (internal and external to Intel) to translate customer needs into a comprehensive plan for the curriculum, including execution of these plans
Drive shifting the company to a new business model to utilize external expertise for core curriculum, including determining the appropriate make vs. buy decisions
Define curriculum architecture, qualification, standards and evaluation measurement for the solution portfolios. Establish and execute a global strategy, leveraging/adapting content where appropriate and differentiating effectively when supporting a business groups individual needs
Apply a business mindset and identify the most cost-effective, time-efficient means and methods to maximize financial resources delivering the most impactful curriculum possible within budget
Understand ongoing analysis that measures the success of current development programs, utilize this analysis for ongoing curriculum improvement
Understand and leverage innovative technological applications of learning and blended solutions as appropriate in the curriculum.
Provide direction to the Learning Delivery Manager and Talent Marketing to ensure effective communications and launch of programs
Build an effective team, recognizing and leveraging the strengths of your people to best performance levels while keeping the team motivated in a dynamic, frequently changing, and geographically dispersed environment
Collaborate as an expert on learning methodologies with Learning organization peers to fit identified needs and address business and/or cultural preferences for learning
You should possess a Bachelor's degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience or a Master degree in a related discipline with 6 + years of relevant experience including roles in Learning and Development
Exceptional proven leadership skills and experience
Strategic capabilities with proven success of driving strategy into action
Expertise in Strategic vendor management capabilities
Learning and Development Experience, i.e., content/instructional design, learning evaluation/metrics, learning strategy design
Global program and project management skills
Strong stakeholder management and able to collaborate for results across business groups and/or geos
Track record of repeated success in People Management leadership roles
Strong ability to collaborate with peers and partners (internal and external)
Demonstrated expertise of latest trends and knowledge of learning design, instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, adult learning, blended learning strategies, learning technology and emerging e-learning practices
