Analyzes, interprets, and projects financial data; produces monthly reports to assist Management Team in short and
long-range financial planning, measuring profitability and evaluating cost control performance; provides the necessary analytical support for the development of the multi-year business plans and various financial projections; provides analytical support and reporting capabilities to business units within Bristol West; performs special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
" Analyzes and interprets the financial information presented in Home Office financial reports; prepares narratives for selected financial reports, which identify and discuss the drivers of financial trends; reviews financial reports for accuracy and initiates investigation and resolution of any discrepancies identified or reported by users.
" Performs calculations for what if scenarios, and cost/benefit and break-even analysis to evaluate and support new and existing programs.
" Provides analytical support to Policy Services and other business units within BW, and produces monthly reports to track and report on key service level metrics and expense drivers.
" Produces monthly reports to monitor trends in historical data for premiums, PIF, attrition, and Management Company revenue and expenses.
" Produces monthly reports to monitor and analyze trends in historical data for investigation of risks (IOR) expenses, and provides analysis for determining vendors' billing accuracy.
" Provides support for multi-year financial planning process
" Participates in the development and coordinates the production of various company presentations for Executive Management as well as BW Management.
" Perform industry analysis of peers from premium and expense perspective
" Provide analytical support for multi-channel distribution efforts
" Performs special projects as assigned.

Education Requirements
Four-year college degree, for Personal Lines Finance - degree must be in Accounting or Finance.
Experience Requirements
Four years in Property and Casualty Insurance in any one of the following areas: Accounting, Claims, Underwriting, Policy Processing or Marketing
Special Skills Requirements
Must possess professional interpersonal and oral and written communication skills and have proficient PC skills in word processing and in creating spreadsheets.
