MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL CASE MANAGER – Adult Outpatient Services
DESCRIPTION: Assist adults with severe and persistent mental illness in their journey toward recovery. This is a full-time professional clinical position providing mental health services to adult clients, including counseling and case management, developing and facilitating psycho-educational groups, and doing outreach. Develop clinically-appropriate individual treatment plans based on mental health diagnoses and clients’ needs, goals and strengths.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a minimum of a Masters degree that included a clinical internship in a mental health related field from an accredited university or a Bachelors degree in a mental health related field from an accredited university and at least two years relevant experience. Requires successful clinical and case management experience with mentally ill adults, positive solution-focused customer service skills, and solid computer user skills. Must be well organized and able to complete all administrative and clinical paperwork in a timely, effective manner. Must have knowledge of and experience accessing and interacting with community resources. Requires a valid WA State Driver's License, good driving record, dependable transportation and private auto insurance. Must have a currently valid clinical credential from WA State Department of Health or eligible for an Agency Affiliated Counselor credential.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Prefer knowledge of and skill in using Motivational Interviewing. Preference (and premium pay) for Minority Mental Health Specialists.
STARTING PAY RANGE: $16.42 to $20.57/hr TO START, depending on qualifications.
