Marketing Communications Manager
Develops and manages marketing communications strategies, programs and projects by working with partners across Sprint as well as advertising agencies to implement product marketing strategies and sales objectives. Participates in the development of plans for product promotion in support of marketing objectives. Provides counsel to other departments and staff on company communication and advertising policies and procedures for retail, web and other channels for Sprint.
This position is in the Digital Marketing organization and may support multiple marketing business units and multiple brands (postpaid and prepaid) of wireless and wireline.
The Marketing Communication Manager III will be responsible for managing Digital marketing campaigns across the enterprise. Responsibilities include developing digital, mobile and direct mail campaigns from strategic planning, facilitating creative through implementation that support organizational marketing objectives for churn reduction, revenue growth, customer acquisitions, and retention and customer experience. The ideal candidate will engage and manage projects with agency and deployment vendors against aggressive timelines and multiple project demands. Reports to Group Manager Addressable Marketing. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to organizational reporting for team and development of processes and best practices.
Desired skills and experience of the most highly complex digital, mobile and direct marketing elements include, but are not limited to:
*Testing design and measurement
*Technical background/knowledge is preferred, specifically familiarity with database systems and HTML
*Privacy practices and anti-spam compliance
*Data delivery management
*Basic design and UI issues
The ideal candidate will have:
·Three + years experience leading advertising agency resources
·Three + years experience in program/project management
· Experience with digital media or web work
· 5-7 years Digital Marketing experience
· Min 1 year agency account experience
· 3-5 years wireless/telecommunications experience
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills
· Ability to independently manage program activity
· Flexibility in a changing environment
Additionally, the successful candidate enjoys working in and thrives in an extremely fast paced environment and is able to manage effectively, within tight deadlines and multiple project demands.
· Some travel is required
- Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
- Three years working with marketing communication policies and procedures
- Three years experience with writing and design layout
- Three years experience leading advertising agency resources
- Three years experience in program/project management
- Experience with digital media or web wrok
