Job Description

Responsibilities will include:
Process collection and demand letters in accordance with company policy

Perform outbound collection calls

Conduct account reconciliations and problem resolution

Use skip tracing techniques to locate customers

Issue payment commitment letters and agreements

Put credit holds on delinquent accounts as appropriate and in accordance with company policy

Identify at risk accounts and recommend escalated collection activity

Recommend bad debt write-off

Coordinate repossession of equipment with operations

Recommend accounts that should be shifted to a collection agency or attorney

Process bankruptcy documentation

Prepare files for small claims suits

Run Monthly Finance Charges

Establish customer credit limits and standard terms based on credit worthiness criteria

Assist RIM (Record Information Manager) with developing policies and procedures according to the GARP principals

Qualifications

We are looking for a self-directed person who brings experience implementing processes and procedures while working in a Collection capacity. Prior construction company experience is a plus. Candidates must have experience collecting money via small claims court and/or reclaiming equipment.
