The Junior Level Customer Service Administrator (JLCSA) Denver is responsible for customer support at the Denver Division office, and the following remote offices: Billings RO, Casper POD (type5), Cheyenne RO, Colorado Springs RO, Front Range HIDTA, Glenwood Springs POD, Grand Junction RO, Missoula POD (type5), Salt Lake City DO, and St. George POD (type5).


The JCSA performs the following operational tasks:
• Performing regularly scheduled backups.
• Allocating network storage
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Installing approved equipment and software
• Installing software patches, updates, and upgrades, including remote serving of workstations
• Maintaining operability of the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
• Troubleshoot and resolve communications equipment (i.e., hubs, switches, routers, encryptors, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and facilitate resolution of network hardware and software problems
• Monitor network traffic and optimize network performance
• Maintain remote user assistance capabilities
• Maintain Internet connectivity for stand-alone workstations
• Provide technical assistance for relocations and moves
• Administering group and user accounts including adding and deleting accounts and setting appropriate permissions
• Providing Blackberry services
• Creating, updating, and tracking service call requests
• Facilitating resolution of service call requests in a timely manner
• Providing assistance to end users for using application software
• Provides desktop and end user support
• Install and maintain computer peripherals
• Capturing and reporting inventory data on distributed and stored hardware
• Staging and taking down end user workstations and associated equipment
• Preparing equipment for transport and shipping
• Ensuring the proper storage and disposal of DEA equipment
• Monitoring and reporting on the statuses of license agreements
• Preparing input and reports in support of the Annual Capitalized and Non-capitalized inventory reconciliation
• Maintaining configuration management data and documentation


Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
