Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains payroll, and timekeeping applications. Maintains and upgrades application functionality. Reviews system performance to identify and recommend improvements. Creates code in COBOL, Job Control Language (JCL), Visual Basic (VB) and .NET. Constructs database objects in DB2 and TERADATA. Partners with Functional Analysts to evaluate end user requirements. Produces coding estimates and design proposals. Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems. Performs production support, including periods of 24/7 oncall, leveraging a variety of tools including, Structured Query Language (SQL), and Operations Planning and Control (OPC).

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have a minimum of two (2) years of COBOL experience?

Do you have a minimum of two (2) years of JCL experience?

Do you have a minimum of two (2) years of SQL experience?

Do you have a minimum of two (2) years of Mainframe DB2 experience?

Do you have a minimum of one (1) year of VB experience?

Typical Education/Experience

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
